This Privacy Policy explains how emtypyie.in handles information when you visit. It's a personal portfolio site. There's no account system, no user profiles, and no tracking beyond what's listed below.

What We Collect

Not much, honestly. Here's the full list:

Standard server logs. Like any web server, requests may be logged by the hosting provider (Vercel). That includes IP address, browser type, and which page was requested. These logs are governed by Vercel's own privacy policy and we don't access or store them beyond what the platform keeps automatically.
No cookies. This site doesn't set any cookies. Your theme preference is stored in localStorage on your own device, and that's it.
No analytics. No Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Plausible, or any other third-party analytics. None.

What We Don't Collect

No email addresses, names, or contact info (unless you choose to send an email)
No browsing history or cross-site tracking
No advertising identifiers
No fingerprinting or device identification
No social media trackers or pixels

Third-Party Services

A few external services get loaded when you visit:

Vercel is the hosting provider. They collect access logs as part of normal infrastructure operation.
GitHub contribution graphs and avatar images are loaded straight from GitHub. Their privacy policy applies.
Google Fonts serves the fonts. Google's privacy policy applies to those requests.
Font Awesome provides the icons via their CDN.

No ad networks, no social media trackers, no third-party analytics.

This site links out to GitHub, LinkedIn, ORCID, Instagram, and others. We don't control what's on those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Data Retention

There's no database of visitor information on our end. The localStorage data (your theme preference) stays on your device and you can clear it anytime through your browser settings.

Children's Privacy

This site isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect it. No email blasts, no notifications. Just check back here if you're unsure.
