Yesterday I attended the BUILD WITH AI session in Kolkata (the 9 August one), and it was a really nice experience for me. Quite informative honestly — we got to know so many tricks for prompt engineering: how not to give a prompt, how to give one properly, how to use MCP, and all sorts of other things.
The start of the day
I reached the venue around 9:20 in the morning. Then we had the breakfast — nothing much, just a cutlet and some coffee. Small, but it did the job.
The session
After that the session began, and we learned a ton of things. The speaker was a working professional at Red Hat, with some solid background in AI/ML stuff, and it showed — everything felt practical rather than textbook.
He introduced us to quite a few new things. For example, if you code with AI, you need to keep everything strictly under the context window, watch out for hallucination, and all that other stuff. Small rules like that, but they genuinely change how you should be working with these models day to day.
The build
After the talks we built a simple prototype of a project right there, using Google AI Studio, Stitch, and Antigravity. Built it, submitted it, done. Quite a nice experience overall.
The important part: lunch
And at the very end, they even gave us lunch. That paneer was damn good, man. Honestly worth the trip on its own.
