So here's something a bit different from the usual dev-log posts: I recently joined a startup called Arrayon Systems (arrayonsystems.in), and I figured this was worth writing about properly instead of just dropping it as a one-line update somewhere.
For anyone curious, they're building in the AI research and development space, with a focus on B2B automation, WhatsApp-based workflows, and informatics tooling in general. Think less "another chatbot wrapper" and more actual infrastructure for how businesses talk to their customers and handle repetitive work.
The first meeting
Had my first proper meeting with the team recently, and honestly, it was fun. We spent most of it figuring out how to even start things: what to prioritize, what the early architecture should look like, and how to not over-engineer something before we've validated it actually needs to exist.
One thing that's already on my plate: a good chunk of the development work is going to be on their website itself. So depending on how things go, you might see some of that thinking spill over here too, since a lot of the same instincts apply whether it's my own site or theirs.
Where this goes
I'm not going to pretend I know exactly how this plays out. Startups are startups, plans shift, and "we're discussing how to start things" is still a very early stage to be writing a blog post from. But it felt like a good moment to note it down, if only so future-me can look back and compare notes.
